I'm married, it will be 10 years in October this year! I wouldn't change my wedding at all. My husband and I got married in his native country England. We were married in a small manor house (former home now a small hotel) in Wimbledon. It was small, 16 of us and it was really fun.

I'm in the Royal Do-Over category! We were married 8/20/66. Gary & Carol, the love-birds, will be married 45 yrs. in August!

I am in the first category..this December hubby and I will be married 40 years...seems like only yesterday..I would change two things at my wedding..I would add alcohol and dancing...we couldn't afford either at the time..

I totally love all your pin toppers. They look like they take SO MUCH time.

I am in the Royal Do-Over category. Of course, we've been married over 17 years, so colors that are in style now differ greatly from what I chose then. I think I would have silver-gray as my color. Not shiny silver or anything. Elegant satin dresses. I honestly haven't thought a ton about it. I would probably get married in the same place -- my hometown, but I would like to get an actual reception hall instead of the gym at the church. You do what you can afford, I guess. We were married Dec 17th, 1993. Jessica and Michael. The fact that I haven't thought much about a do-over is really because we got married, and we haven't looked back. We've built a life together that I wouldn't trade for anything.

I'm already married. Our first date was on November 14, 1989, and we finally "made it official" on November 14, 2003, when we eloped to wed in a small chapel in Las Vegas. If I had to do it all over again, I'd do the exact same thing!

For my Royal Do-Over I would fly my husband and our family and closest friends to somewhere exotic and tropical and 5 star to share a renewing of vows at sunset and a full-on party on the beach for the next many days! Colours now would be the same as then: black and white, gold, cream and deep red. We are Shawn & Kristin and married November 5 and I would marry this man over again in a heartbeat!

Category #1: The Royal Do Over

I have been married for 2 1/2 years to Marc the love of my life. We were married the Brisbane Botanical gardens on October 4th, 2008.

If I could do it again I would get married in Ireland on a cliff surrounded by beautiful green grass.

This August will be 15 years for my husband and I. I planned our wedding in 6 weeks and it was pretty great. I'm with Little Creatable with the redo. If we could do it all over again, we'd definitely get married in Ireland, probably somewhere in Connemara. And I'd love to be able to fit into my original dress ;)

I am in category I. I was married on April 26, 1990. Tom & Cindy. If I got married all over again, I would have a simple wedding ceremony all in white on the beach. Our cake would be a white cake with butter cream frosting and strawberry jelly between the layers.

I just celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary on March 1. As far as a do over...it would be really fun to have a honeymoon in Italy/Germany/or the UK. I think it would be really fun.

Tomorrow, April 22, will be my 32nd wedding anniversary! WOW! Time sure flies when you're having fun! My husband, Frank, and I have two children, a 25 year old son and a 10 year old daughter. It's like having two only children. We had a very nice wedding way back when, but if I were going to have a "Royal Do-Over", this time I'd have a fun tea party with my favorite colors of robin's egg blue, baby pink, butter yellow, apple green, black and white.

Thank you for such a fun giveaway.

Hi Annie! Great idea for a give-away! :)

I am in the married category... Craig & Ariel.. wedding date is 9/26/1998 (almost 13 years!). I would totally re-do! We got married in a church since that was what my future husband wanted. We had 300 guests because I felt if we were having a wedding, I should invite my ginormous family. It was not super fun, it was okay, just not awesome. We had a wedding & reception & managed to feed 300 people all for $3,000. Tiny budget, for all that! To do it over again, we would go off to Disney World/Land & have a blast. Just the two of us. We would get married there & even wear the cheesy bride/groom hats! It would be for us & not for everyone else. :)

I am in the do over category having been married for almost 42 years. We got married on June 28, 1969 and three days later my husband left for a year duty in Viet Nam! I would have done it the same way as I feel it made his Viet Nam time easier knowing that I was waiting for him. I would not have wanted my daughter to do this, but for us it worked out as he came home safety. He was drafted so had no choice about serving in Viet Nam but I am proud that he did his duty!! This is a fantastic giveaway - thank you so much.

I'm engaged and getting married early next year (no date yet). My theme believe it or not will be pink! I love pink like you do - actually people at work call me "Pinkie", I wear pink just about everyday and hope to have a very light subtle pink dress for my big day!!! Eileen

I married on Jan. 6, 1996 and the only do-over I'd love to have is my cake. We were on a tight budget and I had to choose between a fabulous cake or a great photographer. So my MIL made a delicious carrot cake, but it was a very sad-looking rectangular slab with a plain layer of frosting. That's it. No decoration, no flowers, no fancy anything. The picture of us cutting the cake is hilarious. You'd think it was an office party if it weren't for the wedding dress! Kristyne & Jan (he goes by John, but the marriage license says Jan) :)

I'd be married on the beach in the Caribbean!

I'm in the Royal Dream category! :) Party theme?...hmmm...ahh, I want a wedding! I dream of eloping and jetting off to Italy on a romantic honeymoon at Lake Como with George Clooney! Hey, If I'm gonna dream, dream big with a clear intention! This could be why I'm still single ;) He's still single, right?

hi gigi!

I'm in the first category, a Royal Do-Over. Nick and I have been married for 7 years, and our wedding on December 4 was so so beautiful, but if we were to do it again, I'd love to do it outside on a warm summer night, and make it an even smaller party.

I'm married. This June it'll be 2 years. I wouldn't change a thing. It was a small lovely wedding with only our closest friends and family. Our colors were olive green, pumpkin orange, fuschia, and yellow. I had the most beautiful flowers in those colors...

I am in the Royal Do Over Category. I have been married for almost 6 years. Our Anniversary is May 14th. We had such a great time at our wedding it would be hard to change anything but if I had to choose over again, I would have a destination wedding in Costa Rica or Tahiti. I would have the resort plan most of the wedding and all we would have to do is show up, write a cheque and celebrate!

I am in the do-over category. If I could redo it, I would elope and have a wonderful honeymoon. We were moving from Missouri to Connecticut and felt pressure to have a wedding as a good-bye party. In my re-do, it would just be the 2 of us...

The Rx quilter said...

Hi, I belong to category 1..if I got to redo, I would make it a small wedding with 3 at the most bridesmaids and have it somewhere on a beach. My hubs is Percy and our 20th anniversary is this year on October 19th. Lisa in Texas

I've been married 42 years! I wore my mothers wedding dress. I
would love to go try on wedding dresses and plan the wedding in more depth. I would redo the reception over with a big room, or have it outside and not on May 31st, Memorial Day. I would have lots of food, a big party and things for invited guests to do.
I would marry my husband over again in a heartbeat! He's amazing. We raised 3 children. Now we are retired. It's a wonderful life!

I am in the hope to marry category. After six years together we still haven't tied the knot. I no longer care about what the big day looks like. My dad passed away before he could see me married so it will be a happy/sad day for me. Part of the fairytale for me was to have my dad take part in my day. If I could change anything about my yet to be wedding day it would be that it would have taken place before his passing.

On the 21st of November i will be coming up for my 24th wedding anniversay to my wonderful hubby Gavin. Would i change any thing about the big day, yeah maybe my bridesmaid dress being ripped, my brother forgetting the ring and me loosing my diamond earing. And thats it nothing else my wedding day was wonderful. I look now and the dresses might have been very 80s and the hair but it adds to the wonderful memories. Especially the flaming bombe alaska..

I am category 3. But I wouldnt be getting 'Married' to my bf because neither of us believe in religion so it would be like a registry office/civil ceremony.

I would still wear a beautiful dress and have only a select few people with us.

Our reception would be a wonderful thing! small and cozy with mostly handmade and DIY'd decor by me i think. Lots and lots of flowers and possibly thousands of origami cranes, lanterns and garlands hanging from the roof. Setting up for a fantastical photoshoot that I will remember forever!

I will be married 10 years on August 25th. If I had to do it over, I would probably keep it traditional, but change my colors to my new fav scheme - aqua & red. My how quickly those 10 years flew by.

I have been married thirteen years to my sweetheart TJ. We just celebrated our anniversary on the 25th. The things I would change at my wedding would be better bridesmaids dresses (they weren't what I wanted in the first place) and hire a better photographer.

Well I am in category #1--happily married for 13 years now. 11/8/97 ~Ryan & Corey~ I think I would go with something a bit more intimate--closest friends, lots of good food & good times.

I am married to my prince charming! I also had the perfect wedding and would not do anything any differently than we already did. We were married on my grandmothers front lawn, the only home I ever knew. It was a very intimate wedding with only a handful of people. Both my husband and I are only children. I wore a designer sample gown I purchased on ebay for $25 and fixed it up myself with new sleeves and ribbons etc. My theme was medieval and my colours were blue and white. I carried a bouquet that was made of beautiful thistles and we walked down the aisle to the wedding song from Braveheart. My grandmother has not attended any of her grand children's wedding but she and I are very close so I sneakily brought my wedding to her instead. We then travelled to another town and had a live piper and a wonderful BBQ where all enjoyed a beautiful outdoor celebration. I guess if I had to pick something to change... I really wanted to have my ceremony at night in a forest but grandma couldn't come (for fear of the wolf maybe?). It cost us very little and we were able to purchase our first home with no dept. He is the love of my life.

I guess I would be in the Royal Do Over and have my wedding secret with no one there but me and him. I still dream of this wedding... just like in Braveheart.

August 5 2005 anniversary

I was actually just popping over to tell you I just put a post up on my blog about the Royal wedding and included a link to your site... I then found your giveaway.

I've been married for 35 years. My wedding was very Victorian and demure and of course I'm no longer "that girl"! I would choose a bright, happy color like turquoise for my wedding dress. My daughter got married last November and her dress was black~totally her and totally gorgeous! My reception would have lots more delicious foods and desserts. The groom, however, would remain the same!!

25 years in October. I'd elope and honeymoon in Italy with the same great man. I thought the big wedding was stressful, it was beautiful though and I carried lovely Calla lillies and a soft pink was our accent color. And my mom designed and made my wedding gown, on the train she "copied" Princess Di's with our monograms!

I don't know what category I fit in. We have been together 19 years and we aren't really planning a wedding. Terrible I know. If we were to get married I guess it would just be in a registry office. Something very very small. I am a huge fan of your gorgeous pin toppers and would love to own some :-). Thank you for having a royal giveaway :-)

The Royal Do Over
I've been married almost 6 years, June 11th 2005, and I'd love to do a elegant re-do. Silver and Crimson red in the fall in my husband's home state of North Carolina, we actually got married here in Canada in my mom's backyard.
I think I'd like to do a mesh up of vintage/antique styles.
And I wouldn't be 6 months pregnant this time! :)

Oh heck am I too late??? Hope not ... anyway it's worth a try lol.
I wouldn't change a thing about my wedding day (22 years ago). We got married in a quiet ceremony with only 40 people there - total. It was a fabulous day and then we honeymooned in New Zealand. I couldn't be happier - my gawjus man is a true gem!!!
Hugs,
Joy :o)
