Well it's been a very long time and to be truthful I'm a bit embarrassed lol. I'll try and post more regularly starting......NOW!

Tomorrow in the UK my little pins will featured in LOVE Patchwork & Quilting issue #10! I can't wait to see it in print. So far all I have is the proof page here:

When they contacted me there wasn't enough time for me to make and send them actual pins so the gal asked if they could use existing pictures from my Etsy shop. Whomever edited my pic did such a good job don't you think? Here's the pic I submitted:

Buttermint Gables Gingerbread House Pin Topper

Greetings from the finally chilled down desert! I know a few of you may be wondering what happened to me for the past couple of months : )

Lets just say it's been a very long hot Summer and Fall so I am back at it sculpting as much as possible these days!
A couple of years ago I designed a flat version of a Gingerbread House Pin Topper but it wasn't until last week that I finally got around to sculpting a 3D one! Wow so fun and very time consuming! This is hands down the most detailed pin topper in my repertoire : )
I hope all of you enjoy looking at this tiny little thing!

Jinny the Pomeranian - WIP

A friend of mine who lives in Australia misses her Pom Jinny so much she asked me to create a pin in her likeness : ) I messed around with the design for a couple of hours and almost scrapped it as it was a huge challenge for me ~ you see....... dog pins are not my forte! This was my last attempt and I'm glad I didn't toss it into the mess up pile. I still have a ways to go before it's complete......in the photo above she's unbaked and will need a few layers of paint to help bring out her real colors but I do think her fur turned out pretty good. All the different hairs you see are individual pieces of clay....I wish I would've counted how many little pieces I used ~ let's just say there's a lot! Here's the real Jinny! Look at her cute sideways tongue! Adorable : ) Of course the sideways tongue was a must for the pin design.
